How we handle industry data

What the hub collects, who can see it, and how brands stay in control.

What we collect

The hub holds two kinds of business data. We do not collect consumer data.

Product data

  • Product specs and data sheets
  • Manuals
  • Accessories and related items
People data
  • Company contacts
  • Email addresses
  • Customer and account numbers
  • Addresses

Members only

Hub data is available only to verified BlueDog members and the BlueDog apps they use. It is not published on the open web and is not sold as a list. What each member sees about a brand depends on the permission level that brand has set: full data with pricing, specs and MSRP, or listing only.

Opting out

Any brand or individual can ask us to remove their data from the hub. Send a request through the contact form and choose “Opt out.” We confirm the request and remove the data from member access.

Claim your brand

Manufacturers and authorized distributors can claim a brand to review its data, correct errors, and choose a permission level. We verify that the person claiming the brand represents it before giving access.
